A Psychiatrist Focused on the Whole Person
Dr. Lancer Naghdechi (pronounced: nag-de-chi) is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, holding double board certifications in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He is licensed in Florida, New York, and New Jersey and works with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
As founder of Lancer Health, Dr. Lancer is building a practice centered on long appointments, careful evaluation, direct accessibility, and care that treats people rather than reducing them to a diagnosis.
Concierge Psychiatry with Depth, Access, and Personalization
Lancer Health takes a multidimensional approach to psychiatry. Dr. Lancer integrates evidence-based medication management, psychotherapy, family collaboration, lifestyle interventions, and ongoing care coordination with other specialists.
Patients and families can expect thoughtful evaluations, practical guidance, flexible scheduling, and a level of continuity that is often missing from rushed, transactional psychiatric care.
How can I help?

Individual Therapy
Supportive, evidence-based psychiatric care for adolescents and adults, built around trust, communication, and an individualized treatment plan.

Family Therapy
Collaborative care for parents, caregivers, and families navigating behavioral, emotional, school, or relationship challenges.

Comprehensive Evaluation
Thorough psychiatric evaluations that look at history, family systems, development, lifestyle, and the full context behind symptoms.

Medication Treatment
Careful medication management and de-prescribing when appropriate, integrated with therapy, lifestyle changes, and long-term follow-through.
Psychiatry That Treats the Person, Not Just the Diagnosis
“My goal is to create a warm and understanding environment where patients and families feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, experiences, and concerns. Good psychiatry should be thorough, humane, and personal.”

What Patients and Families Often Ask
How can I schedule an appointment?
You can request a consultation through the contact form on this site or through Lancer Health. New patients and families receive individualized guidance based on the type of care they need.
Do you offer online consultations?
Yes. Remote visits are available when appropriate, and home visits may also be available by request as part of Lancer Health’s concierge model.
How long does a typical session last?
Visit length depends on the situation. Initial evaluations are intentionally thorough, and follow-up visits are tailored to the complexity of the case rather than forced into a rushed, one-size-fits-all format.
Is everything I discuss with the doctor confidential?
Yes. Psychiatric care is confidential, subject to the standard legal and clinical exceptions that apply when there is a safety concern or another mandated reporting obligation.
